Baskin Beta Club

Recently the Baskin Beta club raised money to purchase a new bench for the school.  They also purchased three recycling containers to hold cans, plastic bottles, and plastic bags.  We are so proud of our beta club for the efforts they put into our campus beautification.

Principal's Message

I am Mrs. Schulte and I am delighted to lead the team at Baskin School. This will be my second year as principal at Baskin. Prior to accepting the principal position, I was a teacher in the Monroe City Schools District for eight years.

I have two Masters degrees from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. My first masters is in Elementary Education and my second is in Educational Leadership.  I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This year will be my tenth year in education.

I believe stakeholders play an essential role in educating the children of our local communities. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to tour our beautiful campus, talk with staff, and visit our students.  Our doors are always open to the local community.  We feel that open lines of communication between school and home is a vital component to the success of our educational program.  By working together we will be able to help Baskin reach our collective goals.

If at any time we can be of assistance to you please feel free to contact the school.

Sincerely,
Ashley Schulte
